Role Overview
As a Software Development, Test, and Automation Engineer, you will join Cisco's Wireless group to design, develop, and deliver secure and user-friendly wireless solutions. You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality outcomes through automation, testing, and networking. Your work will directly impact the connectivity experiences of diverse customers worldwide, including global enterprises, educational institutions, retail, healthcare, and public venues.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development and Testing:
Participate in the design and development of software for network operating systems, routers, switches, wireless controllers, and access points.
Implement and execute automated and manual tests for wireless solutions to maintain high-quality standards.
Understand and replicate real-world customer deployment scenarios to optimize solutions.
Problem-Solving and Innovation:
Analyze complex challenges to create efficient, scalable solutions.
Contribute to developing and maintaining testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
Collaborate with teams to identify and implement innovative approaches to product development.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with engineers across various career stages to architect, design, and evolve features.

Customer Focus:

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Recent graduate with a BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field (0–2 years of experience).
Required Skills:
Experts in technical languages such as C, C++, or Python.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP protocols.
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to learn and apply new technologies effectively.
Multitasking and adaptability skills
Preferred Skills (Bonus):
Knowledge of wireless technologies (e.g., 802.11 standards).
Proficiency in additional programming languages.
Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and debugging tools.
Experience in software quality assurance and test automation
