Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, debug, and code software solutions for Java application development.
- Develop Java-based software using industry best practices.
- Write and implement efficient and reusable code in Java.
- Test the software to ensure it meets requirements and performs well.
- Provide technical support to software users and troubleshoot problems.
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure code quality and work with product managers and designers to meet user needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing Java code.
Required Skills:
Must have:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or information technology.
- 1-2 years of relevant professional experience in Java Development using Agile methodology.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Collaboration in a remote setup with other team members.
- Ability to write clean and reusable code.
- Good Work From Home Infrastructure.
Technical Skills:
- Core Java, J2EE, OOPS, Collections, Spring, Spring Boot, and Rest APIs.
- Experience with build tools like Jenkins and Maven is a must.
Good to have:
- Knowledge of Docker, MySQL, Microservices, AWS services, Generative AI tools like AWS code whisperer.
