Job Description
Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence (ALI) division is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you’ll work closely with development and product teams, supporting the creation and testing of software solutions that address real-world challenges across various industries. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Development Teams: Work alongside solution development and product ownership teams to document design discussions, provide feedback, investigate issues, and help craft solutions to meet user needs.
- Software Analysis and Testing: Perform software testing to ensure products meet design specifications, quality standards, and reliability requirements.
- Quality Assurance Participation: Engage in the entire software development lifecycle, from quality standards formulation in early stages to testing software for accuracy in later stages.
- Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed records of processes, activities, and test results to maintain transparency and aid in troubleshooting.
- Test Procedure Development: May develop custom test procedures aligned with the organization’s standards.
- Knowledge of ALI Solutions: Cultivate an understanding of ALI solutions, applying this knowledge to help ensure products meet client expectations.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Build a strong proficiency in CRM systems and provide training to customers when needed.
- Learning and Growth: Continually improve job skills, gain knowledge of engineering disciplines relevant to ALI solutions, and adapt to ALI policies and procedures with guidance from senior team members or managers.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant engineering or technology field.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication.
- Basic understanding of software engineering principles, test design, and quality assurance standards.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to document activities and outcomes accurately.
