Job Description:
As a Graduate Facilities Engineer at Intel, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving the operations of Intel’s high-volume semiconductor manufacturing facilities in Ireland. Your role will directly contribute to the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing systems, which are essential for ensuring that Intel continues to lead the industry in semiconductor technology. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to identify, implement, and drive improvements in operational systems, while ensuring that all facilities operate smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will extend across a variety of engineering disciplines, offering the chance to specialize in fields such as electrical engineering, controls engineering, mechanical engineering (with a focus on air and water systems, energy conservation, and sustainability), chemical engineering, business operations, and legal/compliance. In this role, you will be part of Intel’s larger Corporate Services (CS) group, which is tasked with managing all of Intel’s worldwide facilities. CS is responsible for ensuring that all employees work in an environment that fosters innovation, productivity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
1. System Operations and Maintenance:
- Sustain and enhance the performance of Intel’s manufacturing facilities, ensuring high system reliability and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain essential services such as air, water, and energy systems, implementing continuous improvements to support production and sustainability targets.
2. Problem Identification and Resolution:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for enhancing system performance and efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve operational issues, working proactively to implement preventive measures and ensure that systems run smoothly.
3. System Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the functionality and energy efficiency of Intel’s facilities.
