Job Purpose and Overview:
Appfire Technologies is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for a talented Software Engineer to join their Platform Team. This team focuses on building internal developer platforms, frameworks, and services for application development teams. In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for developers using the in-house platform, assist with problem-solving, create reference solutions, work on defect resolution, improve documentation, and collaborate with Senior Engineers. This position provides a career track for those aspiring to become Cloud developers and architects.
What You Will Do:
- Guide developers in using the Internal Developer Platform correctly.
- Identify common development use cases and build reference solutions.
- Diagnose, configure, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems related to the Internal Developer Platform.
- Enhance test case coverage and maintain up-to-date documentation.
- Gain experience in cutting-edge technologies like AWS, Containers, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
- Collaborate with architects, leads, and principals on escalated unresolved issues to expand your knowledge.
What We Would Like To See:
- 1-3 years of experience working as a Full Stack Engineer.
- Proficiency in Java or Node/Typescript.
- Application deployment experience in any Cloud Environments, preferably AWS.
- Knowledge of Serverless, Event Driven Systems, or Kubernetes is a plus.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- 4+ years of total experience working as a technical support engineer, managing and supporting enterprise-class software products.
- B.E/B.Tech in CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, MIS, or a related discipline.
